Traditional marketing is expensive, and business owners in this downturn economic market really need a way to get the word out without having to spend the tens of thousands of dollars to get their product on prime time. Guerrilla marketing is very much a buzz word, word-of-mouth type of business program. It is rather unconventional but this ‘Blair Witch’ style marketing program has a proven track record of earning a lot of money with putting very little upfront.
To be successful with a Guerrilla marketing style promotion program you need to display excitement when you see your customers. Your marketing communications for your product is directly linked to your own personal likeability. If clients like you, they will like your product. So take an interest in your client, regardless of the media platform a person uses, people like it when people find interest in them. So, your guerrilla marketing program must start off as a marketing program that validates your customer base as much, if not a great deal more, than it tries to market your product.
